SPIN meets every Wednesday at The Coton Centre, Comberford Road, Tamworth (100 yards past Rawlett’s School travelling out of Tamworth towards Burton-on-Trent) from 7.15 pm-9.30 pm during term time.
The group is for young people and adults over 14 years who have special needs.
The group is supervised by qualified youth workers and volunteers.
The coffee bar is open for drinks and snacks.
Members are able to use facilities, including pool tables and sports hall. Craft, drama and cookery activities are also organised.
There is a weekly disco run by the members from 8.30 pm-9.30 pm.
The club has disabled access and disabled toilet facilities.
The cost is £4.00 per session plus £1.00 yearly membership fee.
SPIN runs an Activity Week each year during the summer holidays. This year (2019) it will take place between Monday, 29 July and Friday, 2 August between 10.00 am and 3.30 pm at the Coton Centre, Comberford Road, Tamworth. The cost is £7.00 per day which includes refreshments throughout the day and a light meal at lunch time.
Members without alternative transport can arrange to use the minibus at a cost of £6.00 return (subject to availability of space)
New members are always welcome as long as there is space available.
