ASDA ‘Bag Pack’

On Saturday and Sunday, 10th and 11th November, there will be a ‘Bag Pack’ at ASDA in Tamworth. Tips given will help to raise funds for SPIN.

Club members who feel they will be good at packing away shopping for customers are required as volunteers. We want to cover as many checkout tills as possible. Tips are normally given for doing this, which will help with fundraising for SPIN.

If you feel this is something you could do and have time on one or both those days, email leader@spin-tamworth.co.uk giving the time/s you are available and Sylvia will put you on the rota.

ASDA foundation presents cheque for £200

Cheque from ASDA
When SPIN was nominated as a charity, ASDA in Tamworth was asked to support and they very kindly agreed.

Collection boxes were put out in the store for SPIN and the other charities and customers could ask for a token at the end of their shopping to put into the charity box of their choice. The SPIN box actually had to be emptied once because it gained so many tokens!

At the end of the specified quarter SPIN was one of the charities that got the most tokens, so we were given £200, which was the share of the amount given out by ASDA each quarter.

A big thanks to ADSA and all those shoppers who chose us for their token!
