Thanks to the National Lottery, SPIN was able to again host a Summer Activity Week at Tamworth Youth Centre for its own members and others from special needs’ organisations around the town.

The theme was Healthy Lifestyle, and attendees participated in physical activities such as Zumba, Boxercise and Pilates, where special trainers were bought in, together with various other sports such as basketball and football.

They learned about healthy eating and made simple healthy dishes to eat, planted veggie pots, and learned how to look after their feet, hair, skin replica rolex datejust mens rolex calibre 2836 2813 m126281rbr 0007 automatic china and nails. The lunchtime meal each day also contributed to showing all those who attended what was healthy and nutritious to eat.

Other activities on offer were various types of craft, cake decorating and disco training. The week concluded with party games and a karaoke.

On Wednesday, 7 August, SPIN had a visit from Councillor Tina Clements. Last year, as Mayor, she designated SPIN as one of her charities, and came to the Activity Week to present a cheque for £2424.10, for which we are very grateful.

A photograph of Councillor Clements presenting the cheque is shown with some of the staff and young people who attended the week.
